great stay but with minor inconveniences
Fig Tree House offers comfortable accommodations with two lovely reception rooms to relax in after a day of exploring. The cleanliness of the property stood out, as every corner was spotless. The breathtaking views from our room enhanced the overall experience, making it a perfect retreat in the countryside. Breakfast was exquisite, with a diverse menu that highlighted local produce, setting the right tone for the day's adventures.
Navigating the corridors can be a bit tricky, which might challenge first-time visitors.

Beautiful views surround the place, with the serene countryside adding to the charm. The breakfast is among the best you can find, offering a wide choice and quality that's hard to beat.
The layout can make finding your way around a bit tricky, with lots of narrow corridors and some shared spaces that can feel cramped. The chemical smells from plug-ins in the rooms were a bit overwhelming, and there were instances of hot water running out later in the day, which is less than ideal for evening showers. the sounds from neighboring rooms can come through more than expected, which might disrupt your peace at times.

The Double Room had a really warm vibe and was super cozy, especially on a chilly evening. I loved that there were herbal teas offered, which was a nice touch. The views were gorgeous, and waking up to the sunrise was a huge highlight. The room felt safe and clean. The decor was on point. Only downside was the layout of the property can be a bit confusing at first. it was a great experience!

had a wonderful time at fig tree house. the location is super cozy and peaceful. The breakfast was amazin with lots of options. sal and jerry were really welcoming, even had tea and carrot cake ready for us which was a nice surprise. the room had great views and felt safe and clean. totally loved that there was free wifi that worked well!
only thing was the shower could've been stronger. also, the tv in the room was tiny, could definitely use a bigger one.

It was just an appropriate option for a temporary stay in Penryn, good value for the price charged. Enjoyed the lovely Cornish breakfast, which set me up for the day perfectly. Take a walk around the farm to soak in the countryside vibe.

Perfect Countryside Retreat
I had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Cornish countryside, where the hosts welcomed me with tea and homemade cake right upon arrival. The room was impeccably clean, and I enjoyed a serene morning view that accompanied a delicious locally sourced breakfast that truly set me up for the day. The only drawback was the narrow country lane leading to the property, which was a bit daunting at first. I would absolutely come back.
